From wardrobe cabinets to hand bags, good movers know how to pack a truck. Naturally, packing a truck often involves furniture going left, right and upside down, so it's best to keep your drawers empty of any fragile items.
Empty or not?
It is unfortunately another judgement call you'll have to make to ensure your move goes smoothly. When deciding whether or not you should empty out all your drawers, consider the weight of the weight of the dresser. If you can consider the furniture piece in question reasonably light then feel free to leave your clothing items inside, as movers will likely shrink wrap the whole thing together. Otherwise, consider placing your clothing items within a wardrobe box. It is unfortunately another judgement call you'll have to make to ensure your move goes smoothly.

If you're calling a reputable moving company for your next move then it's more than likely that they possess all the adequate equipment to not only transport your items but to protect your household goods as they are being transported.
